For one of our clients, we are looking for a:

Senior Officer Trade Finance Administration and Reporting

Function

To assist in the processing of the Trade Finance business of the Luxembourg S.A. & Branch, initiated by the Financial Institution Dept.
Input of all Transactions related to Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process all the Cross Border trade finance, loan under guarantee by domestic branches.

Assist in Testing of New Trade Finance Products.

Process the customer maintenance, maintaining accurate and up to date customer information for all Trade Finance Clients and Banks.

Process all the LC or Non LC related trade finance, including Export Bills Negotiation, Export Bills discount and LC re-financing, Non LC re-financing and Funded/Unfunded Forfeiting etc.

Process all aspects of import & export transactions including: L/C issuance and acceptances; L/C advising and confirmation; Collections such as D/P, D/A, inward and outward remittance etc.; effecting payment under L/Cs, D/P, D/A, etc.; bank guarantees, standby L/Cs.

Assist with Documentation checking for all Trade Finance related Business.

Input the approved transaction into the core banking system timely and correctly, based on the documents submitted by FI Dept.

Administration of trade finance and trade related loans including drawdowns, rollover, repayment advice and repayment of principal and interest, charges collected.

Assist and perform backup function of Treasury, Settlement and Deposits.

Document collecting and archiving.

Undertake other relative jobs assigned by the Department Head.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; specialized training desirable.
Min 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of SWIFT messages.
Knowledge of treasury related instruments is an advantage.
English and German is required. Mandarin is a plus.
