For one of our clients, we are looking for a :

Legal Officer - Funds

Function

You are in charge of

Drafting any legal documents for client needs;
Ensure that compliance framework can meet all new regulations and its related implementation;
In charge of the upcoming compliance projects related to new regulatory requirements;
Monitor and ensure the internal policies and procedures are up to date and applied;
Provide assistance on compliance issues including GDRP, FATCA, AEOI, MiFiD, AIFMD, etc,…;
Managing the coordination on legal issues with external law firms in coordination with the head office;
Manage and train through internal courses to the company staff, compliance best practice, etc…;
Offer ongoing support to company staff on compliance and legal issues;
Manage conflict of interest, complaints etc… and maintain appropriate logs;
Monitor regulations & update internal policies and procedures;
Prepare compliance reports for different committees: management, board of directors, risk, etc…;
Participating to the company publication program;
Assisting and monitoring Funds setup;
Drafting prospectus, issuance, investment Memorandum, etc…;
Manage Fund reporting requirements and deal with related issues (CSSF, CRS, FATCA,…).

Your profile

You have a Master’s degree in Law
You have at least 3/5 years of experience in a similar position
You have strong knowledge of Luxembourg regulation
Fluent in French and English (any other language would be an asset)
Experience in people management
Client-oriented and open to communication
Basic understanding of accounting
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
