Functions
- Design, implement, and maintain the firm’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures in line with local and European regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review and update compliance documentation to reflect evolving regulations and industry best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities (e.g., CSSF) and oversee all regulatory filings and inquiries.
- Prepare and present periodic compliance reports to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, regulatory bodies, and Group management.
- Advise senior management and operational teams on compliance risks, regulatory developments, and mitigation strategies.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Audit or a related field
- A certification in compliance is an asset
- Relevant experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector in Luxembourg
- Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment in particular AML/CFT
- Ability to take ownership and demonstrate initiative, to negotiate, influence, build consensus and successfully navigate within a demanding environment;
- Fluency in English, other language knowledge will be an asset
